The news of their nuptials was announced by the newlyweds via Instagram.
The 32-year-old bride shared a wedding photo with a caption that read: "Loved each other for the sake of Allah. Married each other for the sake of Allah. May Allah keep us united in this Duniya and reunite us in Jannah."
The entry received more than one million likes from her fans and followers from all over the world.
Meanwhile, her bridegroom, a mufti from Gujarat, shared a video of the solemnisation ceremony held at a mosque, with a caption that read: "Nikkah ceremony was done in masjid post jummah namaz according to sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Maulana Ahmad Laat Sahab performed the Nikkah in presence of Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui."
Last month, Sana who stars in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu productions, announced that she was quitting the entertainment industry and would "serve humanity and follow the order of her Creator."
Indian media reported that the two met through mutual friend, Ajaz Khan, who was also a fellow contestant of reality programme Big Boss, together with Sana.
